There is something about it...the first month of the holiday season. The weather is changing.
Well kind of. There were like 4 "cold" days here in Vegas. The rest of the month it was 80. Ha!
But anyways, October...It makes me SO happy.
Our September was pretty stressful (hospital stay, surgery, all the things...) so October was much needed.
Justin is still not cleared for work, he is still hurting pretty bad. To be expected, he had a really serious surgery. Your prayers are still so felt and so appreciated. We've got a road ahead of us.
We have so much unknown still to come. Faith has been crucial.
It's really the only option if you want to stay sane.
But between all the stress, we had a good month.
First, we went to the local farm. In Las Vegas. It's the best place.
We brought my grandma and it made it all that much better. Being with my family is my very favorite thing. Stoic could have taken or left it LOL.
Then, we did Stoic's first pumpkin patch with Justin's siblings & my inlaws (one set haha!)
I think my favorite thing to do is get Stoic all dressed up...his outfit was killing me.
THEN we took a trip to Saint George to watch Justin's dad play in the senior olympics.
It was a month filled with FAMILY. I was SO glad we went. Justin's oldest sister Sarah was there too.
Charmel took all of the family pics. I need to get those from her!
Justin entered the Chili Cook Off...and for the second year in a row lost to his big sister.
The rivalry is strong between these two. He is already working on his 2019 chili. Lol
Dressing up with Stoic and Justin is just about my favorite thing in the world. SKELTONS!
Then on Halloween we went to the best Harry Potter Halloween party of all time.
We dressed up as Guardians of the Galaxy. It was too much fun.
